Help me support my sister
After some deep thought I have decided to ask everyone here for help. I don't think I have ever mentioned this on here because I don't really like to think about it. Last year my little sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the end of last year she had a bilateral mastectomy and is currently going through chemotherapy. Test results show that the cancer had not spread to her lymph nodes which is about as good as it can get under the circumstances.
Anyway the reason that I am even bringing this up is because the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is happening in Tucson a week from Sunday and my sister asked me if I would sponsor her or go and walk with her. I told her that I would be glad to go down and walk with her.
So right now I am hoping you are saying, "Gee, I would really like to help but...boy, Tucson? I don't know." Well good news. You can still help without going down to Tucson. Just Follow This Link to her donation page and help me to help her smash her goal. It really is a good cause and she is getting excited to see that she is getting close to her goal.
Anyway, that is all. I am also posting a link to her myspace page just in case you want to see a little more about her.

Hey man, best wishes to your sis. My Dad passed away in 1995 from Cancer (Leukemia)...I made sure your sister reached her goal is his memory. Now it's up to others to SURPASS IT!!!

I haven't been on in a few days but wanted to thank those of you that have helped out with donations and prayers. My sister has just been blown away from the support of "strangers" and I must say that I have been touched as well.

I just wanted to thank everyone for there thoughts and prayers and of course the donation. The walk was last Sunday in Tucson and my sister ended up with just over $1000. The highlights of the walk for me were the guy with the "I'm here for the boobs" shirt and the lady that was smoking while walking. We couldn't figure out if she was REALLY hoping for a cure or if she was just that dumb.
