Grocery Store refuses to put child's name on birthday cake

After reading this, Dweezil and Moon Unit probably feel better about their unusual names.

-------------------------------------------------------------

A Holland Township, PA couple is up in arms after their local grocery store refused to inscribe their cake with a happy birthday message to their son, 3 year old Adolf Hitler Campbell.

Heath and Deborah Campbell have named their children JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell and Adolf Hitler Campbell. Greenwhich Township Shoprite spokeswoman Karen Meleta calls the request to write “Happy Birthday Adolf Hilter” on the cake the Campbells bought “inappropriate” and offered a cake with enough room for the family to write the child’s name on themselves instead.

Adolf Hitler’s mother, 25 year old Deborah, said, “ShopRite can’t even make a cake for a 3-year-old. That’s sad.”

Anti-Defamation League director Barry Morrison applauded the Shoprite decision, saying the Campbells “might as well put a sign around their (the children’s) neck that says bigot, racist, hatemonger. What’s the difference?”

The Campbells will be buying their birthday cake at Wal-Mart this year

Why parents do these types of things, I'll never know.

I'm sure Wal-Mart is thrilled to be mentioned like that. LOL.

Those kids should be removed from the home, given new names, and raised properly. Preferably by a black gay couple.

I wouldn't have a problem with that. Authorities should investigate the home for evidence of child abuse, hate crimes and hate paraphenalia and take action if deemed unsuitable.

I think it's terrible, but the last time I checked, racism wasn't a crime. Certainly isn't cause for taking someone's children away.

True. That's why I said they should be investigated and action taken if deemed unsuitable. There is probable cause for investigation IMHO.

Let's just sterilize the parents.

How dare they buy cakes at Wal-Mart!

They could try Food City as well. "That's where they bake they goods."

Geez, now I hope I'm not the only what that has heard that commercial.

I feel bad for the kids who will one day realize their parents were idiots and they were forced to grow up with racist names. Children don't even have any idea what racism is and these poor kids are going to suffer because they had whacked out parents.

How long before that kid petitions the courts to change his name legally? I am certain the kid will have a crap time in high school.

Lately I have been mulling the idea that all of human advancement is based on the ability to overcome bad parenting.

Great. They can wash down the Adolpho Hitlertinez cake with some blue juice.
