I have to work up in Hoboken (north Jersey, two hours away) tomorrow evening and I figured I'd take the day off and check out some of the stuff I haven't seen in the area for, well, years! (We never appreciate what's in our own backyard!) So I booked a ticket to see the Statue of Liberty. I'm pretty psyched.
In any case, you will be without the honor of my presence tomorrow.

don't parachute from it. bad things alwyas come in 3's - 1st the K Winslow II motor cycle accident, then the Cameron Diaz cheating scandal, so, son't make yourself #3
I think it's still closed so you prolly can't go up there anyway. Have a good ole time!
BTW, did you sell your Dallas tix yet?
Yeah, the torch is closed, but the observatory is open. I'm psyched.
The stupid Cowboys haven't even charged me for my tickets yet. I called to make sure that I am still in the system for the tix. They said it could be a few weeks before they charge my cc. I think I have a buyer, DeAnna, but will let you know for sure once I have them in my possession (which won't be til sometime in August).

If you have time to roam around Hoboken at all, and are remotely interested, you can go visit the small museum they have at Frank Sinatra's birthplace...it's on Monroe St. between 4th and 5th.

It's on the agenda!

I actually had a relative from long, long ago who was in the mob. He eventually was killed execution style by the mob in Chicago. I'm not even sure how he made it in since we're English and Scottish on that side of the family.

There's also a great little restaurant called The Grandview (on the corner of 1st and Grand St.) that has a lot of Frankie memorabilia, photos, etc.
And if you wanna see real mobsters, you can check out any number of those small "social clubs" that are all over the neiborhoods once you get off of Washington St. (the big commercial drag)! Just don't stare for too long...makes them suspicious!

I.D. badges are long overdue. Security in this office park is a joke. Last year, I came to work with my spud gun in a duffel bag. I sat at my desk all day, with a rifle that shoots potatoes at 60 pounds per square inch. Can you imagine if I was deranged? - Dwight K. Schrute
I normally don't tell TOO much here, but I have to admit that the Statue was one of my best site seeing tours ever. I don't know why, but it almost (almost) made to cry....
