Do you guys react the same way to those emails and popup banners as I do? I really want to know if anyone has EVER gotten a free anything. I tried once with a $100 Olive Garden gift card, and I swear I had to jump through so many damn hoops to get the thing, I just said ef it. I imagine if one had the patience of a manequin, they could earn some pretty nice stuff. I'd just like to hear from one person who ever got anything free as stated in those ads.

I went to Fatwallet.com and got a spreadsheet one time a few years ago to get a free Xbox. It wasn't free, but I got it for about 12 bucks total. I had to have the spreadsheet to cancel the trial things you had to sign up for to get it. It was easy to sign up and cancel, as long as you tracked it with the sheet. I also got a couple of games for free, and some other item. In all, it was worth it, but it was something you really have to keep your head involved in and track perfectly (cancellation numbers, people spoken to, etc.)

Wow, so you actually got the X-Box!?? I'd do it, but it appears just as if you said. That you better be up on when you need to cancel, and what you're agreeing yes for. That's awesome D-Dogg!
If you decide to do any type of thing like that, search the forums at fatwallet.com. Great site...I didn't even have to make the spreadsheet, it was a template. They also tracked the better/easier to cancel deals and which ones would get you the points needed quickly.
Yeah, had my xbox after about a month and still have it.
