Fat Tuesday?

Anyone going out for Fat Tuesday? My guess is that I will be at Sugar Daddies tonight since it looks really cool with a giant Southern Comfort bus outside AND it is 1 mile from my house so I can always walk if need be.

I wish I had a better idea of where to go because I kind of hate Sugar Daddies. I was there last week and ordered a Kettle One Martini and the waitress says "Is it okay in a plastic cup, we don't have a Martini Glass."

After a long moment where I stare at her "No that isn't okay."

Anyway, first up is I have to go to the costume shop and buy some beads and a mask.

I actually took a personal day yesterday to go to Club Risque with my boy. A strip club mind you, not a regular bar where I would have preferred to go Too bad the beers (Bud!) were overpriced and most of the girls had the bodies of 9 year old boys. What a wasted day! Especially since we were there since 10:00 AM!

I'm guessing crazy in a good way.

I went out last night and saw a lot of hot men ... and a lot of hot, young chicks. I tried not to stand directly next to them (meaning the hot chicks).

JG, I wanted to go to South Street for the same type of setting, but instead went to Club Risque. I'm still mad about it.

i went to south street one year - was an absolute mess - i got there right as the morning shift was passing out and making their way home - things got really out of hand, it was very crowded and not really all that much fun

so many better places than risque as well

oh well - fun thing is, you can go out about any night and create a good environment to party

That might have been the year all hell broke out M.O. Things have been a lot more reserved since then.

could of been, either was '01 or '02- only year i made it to it down there - can't remember the exacts because that whole span of time is a little cloudy - i was in school, working part time for my last coop firm - but that's about all the reference i have

although one of my favorite nights on south street was the first day of the tourney that year - started out drinking and watching the games with my boss who bought us all kinds of food & drink - then moved on to a couple other bars - ended up settling the night down at mako's - recognized the chick sitting next to us - was that girl "bunny" from g-string divas - we were talking to her about her appearance on stern and some other stuff - she had just broken up with her man and was knocking down some of hte ridiculously strong ritas at copa too - she also showed us her new piercings - not quite sure how I made it home that night or through the next day - but it sure was a good time

not sure if you've ever done this - but the erin express was a blast in college - runs around st. patricks day - pretty much buses you around university city & center city - a whole lot of bars and a whole lot of beer

Sanders, is this picture of you???
It is taken from The East Valley Tribune, Saturday Feb 24 issue.

Chris Sanders, 31, of Scottsdale, brought his little sister, Kari Flocks, also from Scottsdale, to celebrate her first Mardi Gras since she turned 21. His night’s plan was to “watch over her.”

heard of it, but have never done it. Probably never will unfortunately. Sounds like something the old me would do.
