Wow that's pretty sad if you'd divorce someone simply because they put on 30 pounds.

lol. I almost brought this up to the wife this week. I'm -10 (235 to 225 lbs) since we got married, she's +15 (133 to 148 lbs)
I'd say if she creeps past 150, I'll have to start putting a moo cow on the fridge

How much weight would your spouse have to put on after marriage for you to leave them??
I tier mine.
Based on a 125lb bride.
135-143--Make comments about how she is stretching her clothes out
144-155--Make comments on how hot all the other chicks in a restaraunt are
156+---That's the breaking point.
Nothing says, "My love for you is completely conditional and selfish..."
like this thread.
I think society as a whole puts plenty of pressure on a woman's physical appearance without her husband doing it.
These ideas don't lead to healthy and happy marraiges, they lead to eating disorders.
If this thread was intended as a joke that I am not getting, please ignore this post.
Is there a certain number of stretch marks she is allowed to get as well?
If you added 31lbs from the time you got married would you think there is no other redeeming quality that would make you worth staying married to?
To meet your weight limit, does it count if they start amputating appendages for the sake of keeping the family together?
Could there be an exception if some of the added weight was silicone?

I hear a lot of what you guys are saying. I agree that we should never put the focus on weight, but at the same time, you do want your spouse/partner to be attractive to you. Weight gain is inevitible, It's when the person loses all semblance and gets comfortable with not needing to look their best. My wife is still petite with a few extra pounds added. She still looks awesome to me, but if she starts hittin up the Chinese Buffet 3 times a week and starts buying more sweatpants than tight jeans, we've got a problem. At the same time, I need to make sure I'm still presentable as well.
If I wanted a fat chick, I'd have married a fat chick. I'm sorry, but my point is valid and important.
It's just straight up unhealthy. I've read that even being 20 lbs over weight can set you up for diabetes and heart disease. I don't know about everyone else....but I'd rather be told I'm getting fat.....than have my feet removed because I've got diabetes.
