Etiquette Poll - Brushing teeth in kitchen sink

If you were a guest in someone else' home, would you brush your teeth in the kitchen sink?

My brother in law brushed his teeth in my kitchen sink.

I say yes, but I would ask. It is better than them not brushing their teeth at all.

As long as they clean up the mess, who cares.

I say no. I have brushed mine in my own kitchen sink. People like to freak out over that kind of stuff, but what is dirtier, some toothpaste foam from my mouth or some container with rotten Chinese food in it.

Now, peeing in the sink, I dont do it and dont condone it.

Maybe if you cleaned your bathroom this wouldn't be an issue.

That is a good one. Nathan gets me again.

I was in the shower. Is teethbrushing such an emergency?

Yes. It's the VERY first thing I do in the morning.

I would stand outside your bathroom & yell at you to hurry up, though.

Or, since we're talking about 2 guys...I'd just come in & do it.

I say "yes" with stipulations:
1: high people to bathroom ratio
2: you clean up after yourself - fully rinse sink, wipe up any splatters AND remove toothbrush from vicinity.
In other words - make it like you never did it.

Great point. I think my main problem was his lack of courtesy in not removing the toothbrush from the kitchen counter.
