Espn vs. Cox Cable

Have you guys been getting emails about this?

Cox is saying Espn wants to charge too much and Espn is saying Cox wants to remove Espn from its service.

I quite watching Espn, for the most part, awhile ago, so I really could care less.

I have the internet and phone, and thus get FREE basic cable throughout my home! Why pay for the "extra" channels when you get all the basic stuff for free... plus if you have a little black box.... err that would be illegal, but if you had one, you would get all the good channels too!!

Yeah the internet hook up and the t.v hook up are synomous.

Funny, the problem is that we love the shows on HBO so we get the digital cable.

Plus I just Vince still has dial up internet. What is up with that?

I won't switch from Cox because I think the internet service is excellent.

Open to other options though.

I have Cox phone, internet and Direct TV. There really is no comparison between satellite and cable, satellite is just so much better.

With the Direct TV Tivo's, all the channels, none of the BS about raised prices for ESPN, etc., it's the way to go.

Same thing here - Cox internet and DirectTV.

I have had DirectTV for 3 yrs now and have never had a loss of service, and the picture is incredible.

I have DirecTV. I pay around $60 a month for it and it's great. As for internet, pretty soon I will be going to COX hi-speed. I don't think I'll leave DirecTV anytime soon.
