East Valley folks - please help find lost dog

This was just forwarded to me by someone in my agility club...

Bo is a 3yr neutered male, he is brown/black brindle with some white on his chest and feet. His face looks like a Shar Pei; his body is stout like the Pit Bull. His ears are folded and tiny. Bo is friendly. Bo is a special, loving family member who is desperately missed. He has a special diet and medication needs. We are offering a reward for his return. He was lost near Southern and Price in Tempe near the Mesa border.

Please email KODIELEVINE@aol.com if you have seen this dog or have any information.

Note, Bo does not have a collar, but he is microchipped.

Update - Bo was found!

For those of you that read this earlier, I'm happy to say Bo was found. He was found as a stray and taken care of by some folks who then saw the lost dog poster! Yay!

Just a question. Do you know why there is no collar on the dog? Doesn't seem to make sense to me???

Hi Adam,

There can be different reasons...I don't put a collar on Baxter in the house/yard because he likes to swim, and the wet metal can irritate his skin, and cause premature wear/fraying on the collar.

That said, I do get a bit paranoid about it sometimes. I don't leave him in the yard unsupervised. He is microchipped, just in case.

Cool, I was just wondering. My dogs each have collars, and are both chipped. Good thing, because Nugget likes to "explore" the outside world. I heard he got out again on Saturday Thing is he is impossible to catch. He will run and run and run. The only thing that will make him stop is a new person. He likes to meet new people. He runs from us, but will stop and sit down with the first person he sees
