Well, I have to say it's a great album, I'm just not so sure it's a great Enigma album.
Michael Cretu (the name behind Enigma) once released a CD under the name Trance Atlantic Air Waves, which was basically just an electronic remake of several TV theme songs (most of which, to me, were unrecognizable). It was a good album, and Voyageur feels like it should be released under that banner.
I liked the way the other albums felt more "otherworldly", meaning the feel of them had a European or historical feeling to them.
But I like the album, but as an Enigma album? Verdict is still out on that one.

When I first listened to it this weekend my immediate reaction was Tangerine Dream. In past albums he has had the tendency to weave past albums into the music - on this album he only does it on the first track and it's very short.
It is a bit of a departure from the traditional Enigma vein, however, I've really enjoyed it so far - it's pretty "catchy". I've got it coursing through the headphones right now.
