Wow. Interesting, not to mention terrifying, article. Here's what I would have done. When I see these guys getting up to use the bathroom one after another, I get up myself to use the bathroom and search that MFer from top to bottom. Maybe even bring a book and stay in there for an hour to screw with their time-table.

What I experienced during that flight has caused me to question whether the United States of America can realistically uphold the civil liberties of every individual, even non-citizens, and protect its citizens from terrorist threats.
That is the big secret, the government can really protect us. It is up to the citizens to protect the country. Or we can just submit to a police state, but then we would have bigger problems than foreign terrorists.

I would have been freaking out. I can't believe everyone stayed so calm. Pariah, your way of handling it would have been smart.

First off, Pariah's way of handling this would be smart.
But there's a lot in this story that doesn't add up. I'm not saying it isn't true, I'm just suggesting it might not be what we were led to believe.
First off, why would terrorists do something so obviously suspicious as a dry-run? Why bring all this attention to themselves and not do anything? One of terrorists biggest weapons is surprise -- the passengers in the fourth plane did not fight back because they were braver than the ones in the other three, only because they knew what was going to happen. By doing this, they have effectively removed that surprise.

supposedly, they had quite a few dry runs prior to the 9/11/01 attacks. They did everything except for take over & attack on previous flights
