Backyard landscaping

I want to start my backyard landscaping soon, like within the next two weeks. I have a friend of a friend that puts in stone patios, pavers or whatever they are called. I am going to have a 10x10ft area done and he quoted me 375. I went to take a look at my friends backyard that he's working on and it looks great. Is this a good deal? It seems to me like it is... The patio is for my firepit, so i can chill by a fire and drink. Everything else will likely be rock and plants.

10x10 is 100 SF, so for 375, you're paying $3.75/SF.

Going rate on pavers on large commercial / multifamily jobs is around $7.00 per SF (talking 500,000+ SF of pavers).

So yes, that's a great deal.

To compare, the going rate for concrete patios / sidewalks typically sits at about $3.00 / SF.

Sounds like a great deal, but have you considered checking with Desert Sky Landscaping to see if they would do it?
