Anyone put in a built-in gas BBQ?

Has anyone put in a masonry frame for a built-in bbq?

I am possibly considering putting one in, but I can only find a few places with designs.

Also, I am having a hard time locating drop-in bbq units. Home Depot, Lowes, & BBQ Galore have a few, but not that great of a selection.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks!

Kevin

Actually, Sunset makes a good book called "Building Barbecues & Outdoor Kitchens". You should be able to find it a HomeDepot or Lowes. It has a lot of plans in it and suggestions for using different types of building materials.

When we had our home built, we had the builder stub out a gas line in the backyard for when we put our bbq in. We haven't done it yet, but at least it is there for us when we are ready.
