The gov't teacher at my high school got one his 18-year-old students pregnant. Legal but unethical, and a sure way to get fired, right? He married her, parents accepted it, and all of this went under the radar of administration. He taught there until retirement, but somehow the students knew without blowing the whistle to the wrong people in administration.

I this goes on more than we think. Lately it seems it's been more the female teachers than the male teachers that have been "bonding" with their students.

I call BS on the parents. I don't care how witdrawn and pouty your 16 year old daughter has become. You do not sign consent forms for her to marry a 40 year old man.

Why would you be attracted to that, she's not even fully mature yet. I hope they don't have kids, god knows he's probably "preying" they have a daughter

I have to agree with this. I mentioned this to my wife (we have 6 kids, including a 14-year-old daughter) and I said I wouldn't care what my daughter threatened to do [ - she threatens already ]. Wouldn't matter one bit. I couldn't live with myself if I signed something like that.

I'd have freakin' moved. See how long their "love" lasted when he didn't have immediate access to her anymore. It's disgusting. I'm so pissed the parents signed the consent...freakin' morons.
