Can you believe it's been 3 years since 9/11? I still remember it so vividly. What, if anything, are you all doing today to honor those who died? We're not doing much, but we have these little flags on sticks that we put in the corners of our front yard.

I'll probably take some time out of my day and just reflect on the past 3 years and probably call my family back in AZ and let 'em know how much I love 'em.
Probably say a few prayers for all those who lost a loved one 3 years ago today.

I had my family birthday party tonight and we talked about it. My family is all from NY and my second cousin and his mom (my great aunt) just moved out here. Everyone telling the story of how they heard and felt that day.
One of my cousins was born that day NJ at about the same time the second plane hit. My aunt's birthday in Sept 11 too, mine is the 12th and my other cousin's is the 13th.
I felt lucky to have so much good family here in Phx, alot of people aren't lucky enough to have that.

My Uncle is a New York State Trooper and my Aunt is a Narcotics agent in NYC. On 9/11 I couldnt get ahold of them and it really scared me. I finally talked to them 2 days later and they told me some stories that made my heart sink. I called them today and talked to them (I dont really talk to them that much) but we had a good talk and I am wore my "We will never forget 9/11" shirt all day. I have prayed for all the families and friends and even prayed for the whole United States. United together..Stronger than ever. We will never forget 9-11-01.
A crazy thing is I was in NYC on 8/29/2001 and I have pics of me and my best friend on top of the Trade Center and another pic with us two together with the towers behind us looking up....13 days later... It still trips me out.
