That is very sad, KLL. On the FCS Football board I frequent, one of posters also lost a friend. Amazing how the tragedy touches people you interact with.

I'm extremely shocked and deeply saddened. I hadn't posted on there in ages, but back in the day him and I had some of the most stimulating discussions.. He was very intelligent and resourceful.... He will definitely be missed..... RIP Brian "estrepe1" Bluhm....
Reports from Va Tech students are that the gunman was asian.. Just thought Id say that cuz its kinda weird.. When was the last time anyone heard of an asian going balls out?
I'm still deeply saddened..... Here's several links regarding Brian Bluhm's life... Lord.. all because of some unjust act.. .I won't begin to express all my disgust, however, the essence is not to focus on this "sicko"... Unfortunately, he's not got his stake to fame.....they shouldn't have disclosed the identity of the suspect to the media because he doesn't deserve any attention....
We must just focus on the victims... their friends.. their family.... All of these link will put Brian Bluhm into perspective:
I hadn't corresponded w/him in a few years w/him on there, but he was very intelligent and full of immense class... We would often debate, but he never would resort to personal attacks.. he always had amazing facts to back-up his argument... He will be deeply missed....
Liviu Librescu (circa.1932 – April 16, 2007) was Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech[1] and a Holocaust survivor. His major research fields were aeroelasticity and unsteady aerodynamics.
Librescu was murdered in the Virginia Tech massacre while holding off the gunman at his lecture hall entrance so his students could escape.
He was killed in the Norris Hall Engineering Building. He was 77 years old.[5] Librescu held the door of his classroom shut while the gunman, Cho Seung-hui, was attempting to enter it, and was shot through the door, but was able to prevent the shooter from entering the classroom until his students had escaped through the windows[6][7], sacrificing his life to save several students from being harmed and is regarded as a hero during the aftermath of the Blacksburg massacre.
First off, Lou my condolences. Also, thanks for introducing me to that board, although reading that last post of Billy Ringo's will haunt me forever. That honestly has disturbed me all day, even though it was almost a year ago.
As for news of the incident at Virginia Tech, I can't even begin to comprehend what was going through this kid's mind when he decided to take the lives of 32 innocent people before taking his own. It's senseless, cold and makes no sense to me.
It's a frightening state of affairs this world is in. What's frightening is, where this is the bar that has been set, eclipsing Columbine (which ironically enough, the anniversary of that attack is later this week), when is this going to stop? Are we going to go through this in another 8 years with even more people killed?
I mourn for those lost in this senseless and pointless attack. I mourn for the families of these people, and I pray for the soul of them all, especially the attacker for when he met his maker.
