20th Anniversary suggestions.

In August my wife will have 20 years of putting up with the long Sundays of a life long Cardinal football fan, me - you jokers.

I want to take her on a special trip 7-10 days. We went to Hawaii for our 10th and have been to the Carribean. We have never been on a cruise. Would love to have suggestions on where to take her from ASFN.

Greek cruise. http://cruises.travel.yahoo.net/cs/Forms/CruiseResultsPage.aspx?AG=135&CD=18&DF=8%2F1%2F200 7&CV=-1&CL=6%7C9

And congrats on the longevity in your marriage. I hope to be as lucky someday as my wife and I are recent newlyweds.

Ireland is awesome, though it's cold there now. I hear Scotland is great as well.

Cruises are super fun, too.

That might be the place. Those cruises looked good. I've seen some combination trips involving 4-5 days in Greece followed by an Island Cruise.

One question about cruises. Are the rooms comfortable enough to get at least a partial nights sleep. One thing I really hate is being awake at 3-4am in a cramped room with nothing to do.

If it were our honeymoon it would be ok but 20th - my wife'll be sound asleep.

You could always go to the casino.

I found sleeping on the cruise ship easy. Of course, I was hammered most nights so that might have something to do with it.

That's why I wake up at 3-4am and then have nothing to do.

I thought the cruise ships shut down their casinos and most everything else around 3am.

Unless Im mistaken the govt. consular doesnt recommend Greece. Very big terrorist haven. Also didnt they already have a major cruise ship hijacked within the last two years around Greece?

JMHO.

Take her on an Alaskan Cruise!

Cruises ROCK!

First, congrats on 20 years! Here's to 20 more for you and the Mrs.

As for a suggestion, may I suggest maybe you taking her to her country of Nationality? Meaning, if she's Irish, take her to Ireland..

Nope, they are all night. A European cruise, or a tour of Europe itself. You shold be able to hit 3-5 countries easily in 2 weeks.

Shane, thanks for the heads up on Greece. That was one place she has really expressed interest in so I'll double and triple check that now.

Like the idea about going to where her ancestors were and the Meditteranean Cruises look Q as well.
