What the #$*! Do We Know?

I went to see this movie this afternoon.

It was very interesting. They talk about the spiritual and scientific basis for the idea that we (literaly) create our own reality. Some very thought provoking concepts in the film. I have read some books on quantum theory previously. I thought this movie was a good examination of some up to date thought and theory about its ramifications for people and the nature of their control of their lives.

If this type of stuff interests you go see it.

This stuff is very interesting to me so I was looking forward to the movie. However, while watching I got the feeling that I was being preached to. I think there are better shows on the discovery channel regarding this subject. I was dissapointed.

agreed.

Saw this movie back in the theater and it came across as very condescending and pretentious. Much better shows on Disco/Sci re: the subject.

Agree on the 'too long, too preachy' part.

Some cool ideas to ponder, though.

Especially the stuff from the Japanese scientist about water molecules reflecting moods. Very cool.
