Apple has your first look at the trailer for writer/director Paul Greengrass' Flight 93 in various QuickTime formats: Flight 93
The unflinching drama, from Universal Pictures and opening April 28, tells the story of the passengers and crew, their families on the ground and the flight controllers who watched in dawning horror as United Airlines Flight 93 became the fourth hijacked plane on the day of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil: September 11, 2001.
Flight 93 recreates the doomed trip in actual time, from takeoff to hijacking to the realization by those onboard that their plane was part of a coordinated attack unfolding on the ground beneath them. The film attempts to understand the abject fear and courageous decisions of those who-over the course of just 90 minutes-transformed from a random assembly of disconnected strangers into bonded allies who confronted an unthinkable situation.

I.D. badges are long overdue. Security in this office park is a joke. Last year, I came to work with my spud gun in a duffel bag. I sat at my desk all day, with a rifle that shoots potatoes at 60 pounds per square inch. Can you imagine if I was deranged? - Dwight K. Schrute

Wow...this movie impacted me more than anything I've seen since Saving Private Ryan.
Someone mentions the acting being bad...that's just because they were no-names and it was filmed like a documentary. I thought the acting was fine and very realistic.
Great movie...watching what they did in that plane knowing it really happened is gut-wrenching.
Those guys should be there with Paul Revere, Nathan Hale, etc, as some of the greatest heroes in American History.
I had tears continuously. Now ill stop reading this thread before certain posters come on spew their hatred for this country get me going and starts talking about its not how it happened at all. It was our own government that shot down the plane or some such crap.

Superior, ***** (5 star) movie! It was exhausting to watch because it just wrested so many emotions out of you. Should be mandatory watching for everyone in this country.
I LIKED it that there were no known actors in it. And if you want to see if you can actually squirt tears over 3 meters, watch the additional material on the DVD where the various actors actually go and meet the families of the characters they played. WOW!

I guess I have to try to watch this again. I was unimpressed and bored so I shut it off. My rooommate was trying to catch it on HBO or something this weekend and he had the same reaction.

Bored? Wow. I was especially riveted by the air traffic controller scenes.

I really don't see how you could be bored...I mean, it's more than a movie, it's a look at what happened that day.
I dunno...but anything about that day always gets to me...this movie held me riveted the entire time.
