Uncomfortable movie feelings

Don't you hate it when you are watching a movie and you feel uncomfortable during a scene, like when an actor or actress makes an ass of themselves singing or something.

The one I hate the most is the "slow clap", you know where one person starts clapping and then everyone else in the audience starts. This is usually seen in sports movies....Rudy, Hoosiers. That crap never happens in real life. I have never seen anyone start the slow clap. That being said, I laughed my ass off in that movie, "Not Another Teen Movie" when that kid goes around and trys to start the slow claps but never finds the right moment.

I loved that movie - and the slow-clap guy was that best.

The last uncomfortable movie feeling I can recall was at the end of "LOTR: Two Towers" when Sean Astin is pledging his loyalty to Elijah Wood. It's a very poignant scene but I guess because it's between two men it has to be considered homoerotic or whatever. I was fine but I could see some of the guys around me fidgeting in there seats. Finally some idiot behind me yelled out "Dude, just kiss him already" and him and his friends all laughed and slapped fives. Wonder if those guys saw "Dude, Where's My Car?"

Don't even know if this fits the topic but it was all I could think of.

If anyones seen Adaptation, those car accident scenes were intense! I could hardly watch. It was unbelievably realistic.

Of all the movies that I've ever watched - I've never seen car crash scenes filmed like that - it felt like you were riding in the vehicle - it was wild.

Yep, that is probably the most uncomfortable I've ever been watching a movie... (That, and sitting through Armageddon)
