Hey, any fans of Troma studios or independent film in general should come to Madstone Theaters in Chandler the night of Thursday, October 9. For those not in the know, Madstone is the new theater on Kyrene & Ray Rds. in Chandler - where the old AMC Laguna was.

Lloyd Kaufman, Troma's boisterous and hilarious founder and President, will be on hand to present two of the best movies from Troma's catalogue.

At 7:00pm they'll be showing Cannibal: The Musical. This is the first film from Trey Parker and Matt Stone (of South Park fame) and I think it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Check out the imdb listing;

At 9:00pm will be a screening of Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger pt. IV This was actually directed by Lloyd Kaufman as well so he should have some cool commentary and insights.
