Is this a curiosity question, or a trivia question?

Well it started as a trivia question but well past that stage now. It's eating away at me!! I've gone through a list of all the trilogies i can remember and in none of them can i think of one actor/ess who has stared in 3.

What all qualifies as trilogies?
Movies that have three in a series, or do a movie with two sequels qualify as well?

Star Wars
LOTR
American Pie?
Godfather
Indiana Jones
The Matrix
Austin Powers?

anything with 3 movies with the same actor/ess and similar titles qualifies. i don't think it was really specified.

Harrison is in 2 complete trilogies.

Hugo Weaving is in 2 complete trilogies (Matrix, LOTR). Could he be in a third?

If they do a 3rd Babe movie, he would be.

You guys are thinking too big--it's GOTTA be a lesser known actor. Just gotta be.

Hugo was the other contender.
i thought maybe there is an aussie flick that hugo could possibly be in but have not come up with any answers.
plus LOTR and Matrix have yet to release the final installments

Star Wars
LOTR
Godfather
Back to the Future
Lethal Weapon
American Pie
Batman
Alien
Indiana Jones
Matrix
Austin Powers
Jurassic Park
From Dusk Till Dawn
Rambo
The Crow

These are all the bigger name trilogies, but there are dozens more with B-Movies--and technically, that question's answer could only involve the B-movies... which makes it impossible to answer.

I guess the answer could be Jet Li or Jackie Chan--there was a ton of Hong Kong action flick "trilogies" overseas. Of course, most of the trilogies had nothing to do with each other (like the Police Story trilogy--which in the US is Supercop)...

Why can't they count? It's still at least 3 movies...
