Saw it yesterday. I thought it was very well done. Some of the comic relief was well childish so I guess it was right on point. The action was fantastic but like someone else said... so many cuts it made it hard for eyes to focus.

I am not big on actors names but whoever played the leader of section 7 was really over the top. He just seemed a little too much for this movie.

No other actress, except possibly Kiera Knightly, has given me more "excitement" than Megan Fox in any movie. Wow, and she didn't even get nekked! Friggin hot!

Not much to the plot, but it was good enough for Transformers. The acting was pretty good. It was really strange having some of the actors in it switch from the normal comedy that they do to more serious parts. Totally random shot at Iranian scientists, boo! Some of the parts were dumb... The action scenes were good though and there were plenty of them. That's mostly what matters in a movie like this. After a so-so beginning I really enjoyed it. I'd rate it somewhere between a 7.5 and an 8/10....I'll say 7.5 because I give out high ratings too easily.

this was the best summer blockbuster popcorn movie I can remember since T2 (probably Juraasic Park also, but I thought it was a really poor adaptation of what was a killer book). literally, I can remember at least 7 different times where I was literally blown back in my seat at what I was seeing on screen. Best special effects I've ever seen. For ONCE, the CGI ACTUALLY looked like it was literally real withinthe context of the movie - unbelievably impressive, cheesy, funny, bombastic movie.

and this coming from someone who HATES most Michael Bay films (although Bad Boys 2 is a huge guilty pleasure) and thought from day 1 this film would be a disaster. Within seeing the first trailer with footage, my mind became open to it and once the film started rolling, I was hooked, bad voice-over narration and all to start the flick. Kudos to Bay and Spielberg for bringing the event movie back to Summer!

Watched it last Saturday.

IMHO The best yet this year.

I thought the comedy relief was spot on.

Not "subtle" where 30 seconds later the audience realizes "oh that was a joke"

And with the exception of the "bigger than Armegeddon" not forced.

P.S. If you saw the animated movie from the 80's did you catch the homage in the Optimus Prime/Megatron fight?

Megatron never "upgraded" to an Earth form.

His transformed status appeared to be Cybertronian fighter jet.

Did you notice the girl in the fight scene where the camera kept her as focal point while it followed the fight down the city block.

Seriously? that happened when you saw it too?

It happened at the Harkins last saturday and it kinda weirded me out.

I don't remember people clapping after movie since I saw the first Star Wars 20 years ago.
