yeah, that rings true a little better. It definitely made the little kid in me say AWESOME numerous times.
best movie of the summer, right in front of Ratatouille.
After seeing it a second time in the beautiful Fine Arts Theater on Wilshire, I think I have to concede and say it was an awesome movie. It's goal was to entertain and it certainly accomplished that.

One of the funniest things about the movie is the appeal to the twelve year old mindset by Michael Bay et al though the too much makeup wearing hoochiemamas, the love interest of Laboof and the Australian scientist. The gratuitious hoochieness made my wife and I laugh quite a bit. Not that I am complaining.

my friends and I have all pledged to go see it again at the Dome - it'll be my third time. yes, I am a geek, but the second time up at the AMC Century theaters just didn't do it for me enough. I need to see this sucker in GINORMO-VISION one more time.

Awesome, awesome movie. It was everything that I expected. However, I was a little disappointed by the sound presentation. I felt that this movie could have brought the house down, in regards to sound, but some of the scenes were just flat.
Other than the sound, I'd have to give this movie a 5/5
Wife and I saw it today...and loved it. Great entertainment. I was shocked that my wife actually got into the whole thing.

I wasnt sure but did megatron ever turn into his gun?
There are gun laws outside of the United States about making toys geared towards youths that are guns frowned upon so that would have put a dent into their marketing plans. Plus when he turned into the gun someone else had to fire him, usually Soundwave in the cartoons..... how sinister are you if you can't shoot your own load?

Thank you for breaking the circle of suck, Bidwill--Stout, December 7 2008.
Saw it tonight with my 15 year old (she has a thing for Shia LeBeouf).
It was pretty good. You guys had it SO hyped up in here that I think I expected more than if I had just watched it without reading this thread. Definitely worth the cost of a ticket, and absolutely a big-screen must-see.

Just got back from watching this movie again. This time I went to see it at the new IMAX theater in east Mesa (signal butte and baseline) Even better on the bigger screan and that is a nice theater.
I'm not surprised. Studios make just as much, if not more from DVD sales as they do from box office sales.
Yea but it always seems to me that the higher grossing movies like this one you can wait up to a year before they are released on DVD. Just seemed really quick. Heck this thing was still showing strong in the theatres as soon as August.
