Release Date: August 22, 2008
Studio: Columbia Pictures (Sony)
Director: Fred Wolf
Screenwriter: Karen McCullah Lutz, Kirsten Smith

Plot Summary: In Columbia Pictures' comedy "The House Bunny," Anna Faris charms as Shelley Darlington, a Playboy Bunny who teaches an awkward sorority about the opposite sex – only to learn that what boys really like is what's on the inside.

Shelley is living a carefree life until a rival gets her tossed out of the Playboy Mansion. With nowhere to go, fate delivers her to the sorority girls from Zeta Alpha Zeta. Unless they can sign a new pledge class, the seven socially clueless women will lose their house to the scheming girls of Phi Iota Mu. In order to accomplish their goal, they need Shelley to teach them the ways of makeup and men; at the same time, Shelley needs some of what the Zetas have – a sense of individuality. The combination leads all the girls to learn how to stop pretending and start being themselves.

Saw it last night with my wife, Matt Lienart is in the movie, which shows what he was doing with his offseason. J/k. but he was in the movie.

It was really stupid and funny really what I expected. I have seen Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, StepBrothers all in the last 3 weeks and this is at the bottom of those if you want a comedy but it does have its moments.

Laughed more at this film than I did at Stepbrothers, Pineapple Express, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Tropic Thunder.

Anna Faris is great.

Louis if you laughed more at this movie than Stepbrothers, PE, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Tropic Thunder then you have some seriously BAD taste in movies. I will have to make a note of that just in case you recommend something because this movie should have been straight to DVD and the others were all great comedies. Oh and Anna Faris is not great, I guess if you like DUMB you may like her that seems to be the only character she can play in almost all her movies.
