The Godfather I and II

On Cinemax today, uncut!

Guess today is shot for me, I'll have to mow the lawn tomorrow.

I can't use that as an excuse since we own the dvd set.

I hear it's an expensive set too. 5 dvd set.

I won it through Xtra Sports 910 awhile ago.

The guns in both I and II were supplied by my grandpa's store.

So if you are ever onJeapordy, and you get asked who supplied to the guns, answer "who is Alan's grandpa".

Godfather I and II are both so good, III just couldn't live up to what both of those had built, i think someone should start a poll as to the general consensus is of which is better. I like Godfather II alot but i have to go with marlon brando in Godfather I.

III would have been better if Alan's grandpa had supplied the guns for it.

I've thought long and hard about which was better, I or II and boy was it a hard decision. I think I'm going to have to give it to II as the better movie. De Niro and Pacino were just absolutely fantastic. What was particularly enjoyable about De Niro's performance was summed up by Bill Simmons (aka the Sports Guy at Page 2) best: 'He actually made you believe that he was the young Marlon Brando playing the young Vito Corleone. Read that sentence again. '

Also, by far my favorite scene in any Godfather was in Part II when Kay finally reveals that she had an abortion rather than a miscarriage. You could see Pacino's reactions as he slowly boils over and just explodes; marvelous.
