Just got back from seeing it. There was a guy in the theater that had facepaint on resembling the Joker. Best movie that I have ever seen.

Curious for those that saw it.
I wrote in my review on my blog that it could be the first superhero movie to be nominated for Best Picture.
Anyone else agree?

Haven't seen it yet, but richard roeper stated that in his review. A lot of it is about momentum and this has a ton behind it.
Also thanks to everybody for being careful with spoilers, nothing more annoying then reading a thread on the movie but having to be extra careful not to read any big spoilers. |

I just saw it as well, and a phenomenal movie it was.
The one thing that bugged me, and it had nothing to do with the movie, is that when the Joker would do something on screen, at least half the time the theater burst into laughter.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this movie wasn't supposed to be funny, and Ledger's Joker wasn't at all supposed to be comical. |

Watched it last night and I'll watch it again tonight.
Wow. Great movie.
Solid performances all around. Ledger was phenomenal.
Eckhart, Bale, and Ledger, what a great trio.
