The Big Chill

Always heard people raving about how great this movie is. I know its 20 years old but I decided to check it out yesterday and rented it at the video store.

Man what a slow boring movie pretty much about nothing but 8 or so people going through a midlife crisis and doing nothing but getting high for a few days.

Really didnt see anything special at all other than a superb cast playing in a subpar movie!

Ive still yet to see it. But I think its a generational thing. Anyone I know from my parents generation thinks its fantastic. I imagine that our children will see Breakfast Club or something, you know a film that kind of defines our generation and think it sucks too.

I just got this movie from BBO. I am looking forward to watching it, being a disgruntled 30 year old and all.

Us ol folks thought it was a pretty good flick. Another one like it is Indian Summer.

Heres some trivia from the Big Chill. Does anyone know who the body in the casket was? The body was supposed to be in the movie but it was cut out.

I just watched it. It was cool to see these actors 20 years younger when they were in their early 30’s. I’m glad I didn’t watch this when I was a kid, I probably would have found it pretty boring.
