SANTA MONICA - Actor Chris Penn died in Santa Monica. The brother of Sean Penn was 43.
Santa Monica police say there is no sign of foul play in the death of Actor Chris Penn. The actor and brother of Sean Penn was found dead in a Santa Monica residence.
Chris Penn was seen in many movies - including "Reservoir Dogs" "Footloose," "Corky Romano" and "Mulholland Falls." Santa Monica police are currently on the scene investigating the circumstances. ABC7 Eyewitness News will bring you the latest information as it becomes available.

Damn! He looks terrible in that photo. I don't think he took very good care of himself. RIP.

I remember seeing photos taken of him in an alley smoking crack. I would not be surprised if drugs played a part in his death.

Just saw some of Footloose again the other day and couldn't believe how young he (and the other well-known actors) looked.

Very sad...so young.

I just found out who he was when I saw Resevoir Dogs for the first time about 2 weeks ago. R.I.P Too young.

How in the hell did he do crack and stay so fat?

I knew a guy who went on the crack train and he was like 6'2" and built like a pro football player. Then he became so skinny I hardly recognized him.

Yep. I wonder how long it will be until Sean makes a statement like: "The stress of living under the current administration was making it tough for my brother to quit smoking crack."
