Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair (NC-17)
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair to be NC-17
Source: FilmFocus.co.uk
March 15, 2005
FilmFocus.co.uk talked to Quentin Tarantino, who revealed that his combination of both "Kill Bill" volumes, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, will be released as a NC-17 rating.
"Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is definitely getting a wide release," he said, "actually, that'll probably be the first movie that Miramax, under their new company, will be releasing theatrically. It's the Japanese version, that's why I call it that, you know, it should probably come out in the next few months. It's going to be NC-17 in America. We couldn't do that when Disney owned the place but now Disney's the (expletive) outta there we can do anything we want! It's gonna be off the hook!"

Ok, #1--I thought the Kill Bill whole movie was just going to DVD, and #2--was Tarantino quoted as saying "it's gonna be off the hook!"??

Way to show your taste
Seriously, I was worried about the first Kill Bill movie (looked like it may come out like hollywood garbage), but I was VERY impressed with both of them. Tarantino is one of the greats, and I can't wait for this release.

What's that about? Surely you know that people either love or hate the Kill Bills... I happen to be a "hater". If you're going to doubt my taste, probably better to use different movies than these two to make that assertion.....

That's why the Though I disagree, you can't really tell someone they're flat out wrong on a matter of taste.

I thought they were good.
3 out of 5 stars
I'll never be able to judge a Tarantino movie objectively. I can't help but use Pulp Fiction as a standard.
