I'm genuinely excited about this movie and I can't really pin point why. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

This movie looks sick. It's like a Bourne Identity/La Femme Nikita type of flick. Gotta love that....

It seems like a more serious Hit Girl/Big Daddy storyline from Kick Ass. It looks very good.

Let me know if it's any good, I am over the Borne Identity movies right now and I aint shelling out some duckets to watch the pre-teen version, it doesn't give me the Kickass vibe at all.

It shows a kick ass vibe, but in reality it is anything but.
The previews show it as an action movie when in reality it is border line chick flick. A movie about a teenage girl discovering herself. It is 10% action movie, 90% art film. The first 20-25 minutes you are thinking this could get good, then wham art flick.
It is the first movie in a long time where me and the other guys I went with were all debating in our own heads to get up and walk out.
The previews are a complete con job.

My two movie-going friends and I saw it today -- now we're all females, but we like action-suspense flicks. We thought this was an entertaining flick and kept the tension up pretty well throughout -- could have used a bit tighter editing through the middle. A few sections were 'coming of age/fish out of water' stuff about Hanna running into the real world for the first time, but they tended to be amusing.
It was about what we expected, so I don't think the previews were that misleading, and certainly not a 'chick flick.'

The first time I read this I thought you were suggesting this was a dynamic situation.

A far from perfect action flick that could also fall under "coming of age". It was just alright for me. Although I thought that the sound effects were top notch. Made we want to buy this movie on DVD to see how it sounds on my home theater.

Does it sound different if you just rent the movie/ get it from Netflix?
