Best Fight Scene
What's your favorite?
I like the scene in Star Wars with Kenobi/Qwaigon (sp?) vs Darth Maul. Pretty cool.
Tonight I saw Blade on TNT and like some of the scenes in there.

Rumble in the Bronz with Jackie Chan...the scene in the gang's hideout, with the poll table, the refridgerator, etc.
Amazing...

Vader versus Luke (Part 1): The lightsaber battle in the cloud city of Bespin in which Luke loses a hand and those immortal words "Luke, I am your father" were uttered.
"Duel of the Fates" from Ep:1 ... the scene with Darth Maul fighting both Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Classic.
Obi-Wan Kenobi versus Jango Fett in Ep II (In the rain on Kamino).
Yoda versus Darth Tyrannus in Ep II. Awesome digital work on Yoda.
"They Live" the scene where Nada (Roddy Piper) fights Frank (Keith David) in an alley...all because Nada wants Frank to put on a pair of cheap sunglasses that reveal an alien agenda. Very funny scene.
"Liar Liar" the scene where Jim Carrey beats himself up.
The fight scenes from "Braveheart."
Jackie Chan fighting 2 men on a rooftop (I think it was the movie "Who Am I?")

I don't care who you are, but the fight scene that is GOING to happen in Star Wars Episode III is going to be the coolest. I read that Ewen and Hayden will train for two months just for their scene.
For the record, Yoda's scene in episode II kicked ass.

Liar Liar "fight" scene is the funniest thing I have ever seen one person do I think. "I'm kicking my ass!!"
Love the Braveheart scenes. Really speaks to the horrific battles back in those days. Weapons meant to slice and dice. Nothing surgical at all about those weapons.

Sorry but the best fight scene in the HISTORY of cinema is EASY. John Wayne in the Quiet Man. I will not be argued with on this one! Heh.

Sure. The fight scene in North To Alaska. Comparable, but probably not any better than Quiet Man.

"The Transporter", Jason Stratham vs. a bunch of goons on an oil-covered carport
"Friday the 13th VIII" Jason vs. the boxer.
"Star Wars: Episode One" two Jedis vs. Darth Maul
"Jackass: The Movie" Johnny Knoxville vs. Butterbean in a dept. store
"Blade II" Blade vs. the head Reaper at the end.
I forget the movie, but it was Jackie Chan w/ a ladder vs. a bunch of goons. Actually, just about any scene Jackie Chan does is classic.

That was Jackie Chan's First Strike, IMO one of his best if not the best Jackie Chan movie.

that is the most hellacious fight scene in any movie of all time. i think the amount of movie time for that scene was about 15 to 20 minutes

I think the all the fight scenes in "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" just kicked absolute ass. A close second would be the scenes from "Braveheart" - my second favorite movie of all time.........
I have to say though that the fight scene involving Yoda in SW Ep2 was the most stoopid thing I have ever scene..........no, scratch that. The most stoopid thing I have ever seen was "Leprechaun"........Yoda's scene was second
