We drew for draft positions this week
and I pick #2....I am thinking trade down. With our scoring system there is really no stand out number 1 with Holmes and Faulk falling off a bit. I think if I stay in the top 5 and can pick up another pick maybe 3rd round I would be in a great position.

yeah, doesn't seem like a bad idea this year with the clear-cut #1 pick questionable.

Vick
If I had 1st pick. It would be Vick hands down. Touchdowns in any league mean the most. Between passing and rushing he scores the most.

lol, another crazy pick!
Touchdowns do NOT meant the most in any league...sure, they are a huge part of it, but if your league has lots of points for yards, that is important too.
Not a bad pick though, just not a #2.

NO WAY
Most of the fantasy sites I see have him in the 12 to 20 area. NO WAY #1.

The guy in my league that has #1 is talking about taking Vick that will be the bust of the draft as far as points to draft pick. Plus that means if I trade down to #5 I will get a better guy than originally planned.

Vick.
First off thanks for the information and the kick @ss discussion.
My arguement with Vick is with Perless Price, and Brian Finneran I think Vick will show some ridiculous passing numbers. That is if they start Dunn and not Duckett.
My league: 300 passing = 1 pt and 1 pt for every 10 after that.
50 yds rushing for a QB = 1 pt and 1 pt for every 10 after that
touchdown passing or rushing = 6 pts
INT = -3
And he rarely throws interceptions.

So you're in a touchdown league, so I can see your point.
But my league is 1pt per 25 yards passing, and 1pt per 10 yards rushing.
Maybe Vick will turn into a #1 pick this year, but I just can't see wasting a #1 on him now.

My league is similar 1 pt for 10 yards rushing and 1 for 20 passing. -2 for INT's he had 16 TD's passing and 8 INT's last year and another 8 TD's passing.
In my league last year Vick was right on par with Arron Brooks who was taken in the 4th round. I don't see Price as being THAT much of an increase. Plus I think Duckett will get a lot more carries this year.
