Slight TE problem

I recently picked up Chris Baker, the TE for the NY Jets, off of waivers. The problem is, I have to release someone. The only player that is viable is TE Eric Johnson of the 49ers, who is currently injured. Should I release Johnson, who is a good TE, or should I release Baker, who is a TE is a system "that uses the TE heavily (sic)," as Gil Brandt put it. My opinion is that Johnson has the higher floor, but Baker has the higher ceiling. So who should I choose to release?

Johnson is injury prone and flopped at the end of last season. Cut him loose.
