Please Review These Trades

Alright here's the deal. My team is 1-3, but I have lost 2 games by 1pt.

My roster is as follows:

QB-Carson Palmer
QB-Jake Delhomme
RB-Priest Holmes
RB-Clinton Portis
RB-Kevin Jones
RB-TJ Duckett
RB-Mewelde Moore
WR-Donald Driver
WR-Rod Smith
WR-Antwaan Randle-El
WR-Michael Clayton
WR Kevin Curtis
TE-Jason Witten
D/ST-Indianapolis
K-Neil Rackers

I have two potential trades that could go down.

One trade is Kevin Jones for Larry Johnson. The upside is that I could have the KC backfield. The downside is that I still think Kevin Jones is a stud and am having a tough time trading him for a 2nd stringer. Not to mention I am not completely sold on Larry Johnson since his Week 1 performance.

The 2nd trade is my backup Jake Delhomme/A backup RB of mine for Anquan Boldin/Roethlisberger. I need a good WR, and Delhomme is expendable to me.

What are your guys' thoughts?

I would NOT trade for Larry Johnson. I just heard that they aren't going to continue the same rotation pattern with him and priest anymore. I also heard that it will be priest on the goal lines.

If you can get Boldin and Big Ben.. I would do that in a heartbeat

How many RB's do you start every week? If it is just 2 then realistically Kevin Jones is only likely to start at best 1 week this season during the bye week for your starters. So trading for Larry Johnson would probably be a good idea, cus if Holmes gets injured I gaurentee your screwed and you wont be able to get Johnson in a trade at that point. However if you start 3 backs every week then having Jones on the team means you'll have him starting at least 3 games this year, and possibly more depending on Minnesota's RB situation which is still so damn ???? that I'm not sure even the team knows what they're gonna do in the long run.

Second trade is a yes do it.

Awesome, thanks for your help guys. I hadn't heard that about LJ, so that definately changes things quite a bit.

As far as my RB position, I start 2 and have a flex position to work with, and I typically throw another RB in that slot unless I have a lot of favorable WR matchups.

Once again, thanks for the timely response.
