Is this trade unfair?
I offered a guy, who needed wins: Tim Wakefield and Jorge Julio, for Eric Gagne.
He's in last place, and needs to catch up, so he accepted it. No collusion, no foul play...he just accepted it.
Now we're getting crap about it. Is it really unfair?

Granted, I'm a little lost on Wakefield and Julio, but if the guy wants wins, why trade away Gagne?
Can you explain just how getting those two guys for one of the best, if not the best, closer in the game makes him able to get more wins?

Considering Gagne doesn't get wins, then he's not helping him
Basically he's getting a pitcher with 4 wins in Wakefield, a closer in Julio with 12 saves while he gives me a closer with 18 saves.

Yes that is unfair. But if he accepted it and there was no foul play involved then that's the breaks, and good job to you.

How much is a win worth, and how much is a save worth?

Far be it from me to comment on trades, but if both of you agree to the terms then what is the problem?
Usually, there is only a rash of complaints if it appears really lopsided or it's the last place team giving it's stars to the first place team (ie - the last place team giving up and solidifying the top team's stranglehold on the league).
As long as the other person din't hit accept on accident, right Mikey?

It's roto-style Chap, meaning we track stats in categories, not by points.
I am 2nd in wins, but 6th in saves, so I need saves. He's about last in wins, and 3rd in saves, so he needs wins.
