FFL and team loyalty

This week I can start either Arizona D vs. Carolina or Carolina D @ Arizona.

I just can't bring myself to start Carolina as I want no redemption even if they do well.

I did start Stephen Jackson of the Rams when they played Arizona, and he scored points for me, but I kinda felt bad knowing he got those points against my team.

On the other hand, I have Neil Rackers, and while 6 field goals is amazing, it means we are not getting into the end zone.

Do you completely separate your fan interest from your fantasy decisions or how much does it influence what players you start?

I totally understand!

Sometimes I just try to avoid all cardinal players on my roster...but this year I took a chance on no. 11 (too afraid to jinx him) and been pretty pleased.

As fer opposing players against Arizona...I just hope for an arizona win while my FFL player lights it up...but it certainly drives me nuts in key moments of the game (i.e. red zone situation, turnovers, etc)!

With all of our injuries, I think I would have to go with Carolina's D. It's tough I know, but I think you know what you need to do.

Cardinals come first. Last week Neil Rackers beat me, and I cheered for every one of his field goals.

For me it's usually a "Go Cardinals, but if you're gonna lose, at least don't hurt my fantasy team".

I wish I could separate those two things! Every year I have lots of Cardinals on my team. The only other player who has some from the Cards is my sis and that's because she knows the talents of Larry Fitzgerald.

I have Quan, Shipp, Arrington and Neil Rackers (LOVE HIM)! I also had the Cards defense but cut them a while back.

BTW, I ALWAYS pick the Cards in the pick em pool, even if it's just with a one confidence point.
