Fantasy help needed -- TE

I currently have Freddie Jones and Ben Troupe for TEs on my fantasy roster. Jones is killing me and Troupe just played for the first time last week. I wanna drop Jones, but am not sure who to pick up. Here's who's available.

B. Williams (NO - TE)
J. Witten (Dal - TE)
Da. Clark (Ind - TE)
B. Franks (GB - TE)
De. Clark (Chi - TE)
I. Mili (Sea - TE)
K. WinslowDTD (Cle - TE)
B. Miller (Hou - TE)
A. Becht (NYJ - TE)
J. KleinsasserIR (Min - TE)
J. Stevens (Sea - TE)
J. WeaverNA (Den - TE)
B. ChamberlainNA (Den - TE)
S. Alexander (Det - TE)

I was thinking of taking Witten, but Dallas has a bye this week and I don't want to start Troupe (although Jones got me a big zero last week). Suggestions?

I'd say Franks or Boo Williams if it was up to me. I will never have a Cowboys player on my team out of spite.

You probably couldn't be faulted if you went with any of the following:

Dallas Clark, IND
Des Clark, CHI
B. Williams, NO
J. Witten, DAL

Looking at these TEs that are available, though, it makes me wonder--are you in a TE required league? If not, then maybe you should be looking for a WR instead.

Spite will make it difficult to win championships then, MD. Everyone else will have a larger talent pool to select from. You're going to end up like a 3A hisgh-school playing a 5A school.

After thinking about it for a little bit--you ought to drop Troupe and Jones and pick up 2 of the 4 listed, IMO

Yup, I need to start a TE every week.

Hell, I might just drop Jones AND Troupe and pick up Williams and Witten. Thoughts?

Witten should be one of those choices, he had 66 yards in Week 2, and then 22 yards and a TD last night.

I picked up Witten and Dallas Clark. Now Ben Troupe will start actually playing and get lots of touchdowns.

I have been doing well with Whitten in our 16-team Dynasty league. Plus the other DAL TE is now injured, so he will see even more time. He has a bye this week, so I picked up the guy from JAX.

ah, but if I lose, I lose with dignity. Actually, I've never finished lower than 4th in a 12 man league. Went to the Championship 2 yrs ago.
