Defensive Players
In a league this year that has one defensive player as a starter per week. I have never played in a league with individual defensive players before.
So I drafted Jason Taylor from Miami and Derrick Brooks from Tampa. But I was thinking...
Maybe I should just pick up the best Def back from the team playing the Broncos each week? I think that alone can win the league championship for me! Its a money strategy!

Good idea I would go with that one. I would look at each week and see who is playing who and pick the best D player for that week.

I think it will have to wait until week 2, simply because I don't think I want to gamble on any of the guys in the bengals secondary. Anyone of those guys worth a shot?
I think Jason Taylor vs. Houston's O-Line might be a better bet.
Week 2 Jake vs. San Diego looks like a good idea...

Quentin Jammer might justify his draft position and jump start his career with a big day against Plummer in week 2.
I just don't think there is anyone on my roster I want to drop for a week...

Historically, I have stayed away from DL because they are kinda inconsistent. One week they will have 2 tackles and the next, 2 sacks and forced fumble and 5 tackles. I mainly pick up LB and S. Won my Sanbox league three years in a row and hoping to make it four.

Revisiting this for a few minutes on my lunch break.
Should I pick up Jammer and start him? Or should I start someone else on San Diego?
Any thoughts?

I made the move and put Jammer in there as a starter.
I am starting him over Jason Taylor.
I dropped Olandis Gary to pick up Jammer.
I had only picked up Gary to try and trade him to someone desperate for a running back once I saw that Detroit traded for him. I got a couple offers, but they weren't really worth anything.
