Can someone please evaluate this team/trade offer for me please?

Hey guys and gals,

This is the results of an Autopick league that the guy plans on making a Keeper League. 10 Teams were in it..

Here's the end result.

QB-- Daunte Culpepper, Michael Vick, Steve McNair
HB-- Curtis Martin, Steven Jackson, DeShaun Foster, Duce Staley
WR-- Randy Moss, Darrell Jackson, Drew Bennett, Steve Smith, Eddie Kennison, David Givens
TE -- Todd Heap, Jermaine Wiggins
K-- David Akers
DEF-- Atlanta, Tampa Bay

Now the trade offer..

I'd receive: Edgerrin James, Anquan Boldin and Aaron Brooks or Byron Leftwich

I'd trade: Daunte Culpepper, Curtis Martin, Steve Smith

Getting James would give me a good set of HB, both under the age of 30, and Quan who I have high hopes for.

However, with every upside, there's a downside. Neither Leftwich or Brooks are on Culpepper's level. Also, Quan and Smith are pretty even IMHO.

What do you think?

Couple of questions come to mind:

#1 how is scoring set up, are QB's valubale enough to be the keeper player on your team?

#2 how many people do you keep at teh end of the year?

#3 how many starters are for each position?

These are all important questions. One of the biggest is points for receptions. Both Boldin and James should put up high reception totals.

Points per reception not reception TDs.

Most leagues give 1 point per reception. This is what downgrades Martin.
