Hi everyone,
The draft is starting Tuesday, August 12 at 1:30 pm EDT. We draft as we have in the past: a preload draft. The draft will take the next week or so to complete (see http://www.antsports.com/info/General_Rules.asp#DRAFT) so you'll want to go into your homepage and predraft selections now. This is very important, because you are on the clock for only 12 hours. When the time is up, Steve will try to call you, but if you can't be reached he will DRAFT FOR YOU. So avoid the hassle and check in to predraft. Go here to see how to do that: http://www.antsports.com/FAQ.asp#How_PreDraft.
Last year was a lot of fun and I know Wierwolves is hoping for a repeat. I personally have other plans! Enjoy the season everyone!
I didn't have L. Johnson on my predraft lists because I thought for certain he'd be gone by #7. I'l bet that's the case with a lot of people...and that's why Stout was able to grab him in the second (though it works out, becuase MBIII isn't a first round pick. ).
Also, I thought for sure I was going to be able to get T. Jones in the third. In fact, I was counting on it.
Damnit!

Guys, don't get bent out of shape about the time between picks. If you wanted a fast draft, the league should have been set up that way.
Personally, I think pre-drafting puts you at a bit of a disadvantage--and if someone can't get to the pick for a few hours it's their perogotive to wait until they can see what's gone down in the draft to make thier selection. It's within the framework of the draft, and we knew up front it would take all week.

16 hours is not in the framework and he is on the clock again 6 picks later...It takes all week because of crap like this.
2nd person to take more than 12 hours...do you really need 12? BIM just picked 8 minutes earlier (pretty good idea that you will be up again soon with only two picks between yours).

Ridiculous.
It's the first, isn't it? The other longest went about 8 hours.

If you like a player like that, why in the heck would you leave him off your pre-draft list? That's just silly, Pariah. I trained you better than that
As for your second point? Poo poo to that. I hate the Cowpukes as much as the next self-respecting human, but MBIII is going to be a fantasy stud this season.
