Texans | Johnson to miss at least another week
Mon, 22 Oct 2007 15:38:16 -0700
Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (knee) is not going to play for another week and may not play until after the team's bye week.
If this report is accurate, that's four more weeks until he even sniffs taking the field again.
I'd keep him. Even if it is for only 6 or 5 games. He was a stud while he was still in.
He has been an injury case for almost 3 years now. PITA

He's a fantasy stud, no doubt about it. But, with no IR slots to put him into and the potential of him missing another 3 weeks (including the bye week) on top of the 5 weeks he's missed already I wonder if he'll be "game ready" the first couple of weeks after his return.
This year just plain stinks for me. I'm lucky I've won two games so far. 11 of my 15 draft picks (guys like Steven Jackson, Jevon Walker, Matt Leinart, DJ Hackett, Issac Bruce, JP Loseman) are no longer with my team...
You are right. Maybe it was the fact he didn't do jack last year......or wait I didn't have him last year. But it was the year before.
There is NO WAY he has only missed 3 games.
Maybe officially but he sure missed a lot of time sitting on the bench injured.
He (and David Carr) cost me a Championship two years ago. I went from 1st to 4th.

Well, I got rid of Ike Hilliard to make room for Deion Branch instead of dropping Andre Johnson.
It's one of those moves that makes you feel...uncomfortable...kind of like when I drafted Steven Jackson number 2 overall this year...it just didn't feel right.
I was #4 and was hoping that he fell to me. I took Shawn Alexander instead. Not much better.
Thank goodness I went RB RB again and took Ronnie Brown and Edge. Oh wait, Ronnie is now out too.
This season is totally Toppsy Curvey!
With the way things are going, at the end of this week first place will be 5-3, and last place will be 3-5. No one seems to be walking away with the title at this point.

There is one guy in my league that is 6-1 (Has Romo, TO, Welker, Moss) and one that is 5-2(has Brady). Most of us are 4-3 and only one person is 1-6. Thank goodness this is the league that I care about.
I am still stoked that I was able to grab Adrian Peterson in the 5th. Braylon Edwards in the 10th is looking like the same type of steal.
