When the Coyotes moved to Phoenix in 1996 I was enamored with the cast of characters that arrived: Tkachuk, Roenick, Bulin, Teppo, etc. Don Hay brought the promise of Stanley Cups and banners in the rafters of AWA.
So now for over 10 years we have had playoff failures, last place finishes, and morose malaise. I can say now - happily - that these new Coyotes are lighting that flame - again. Doan, Mueller, Hanzal, Bryz, Bally are giving me hope - for... |
