I am predicting it now, because I saw it unfold the same way under Whisenhunt.

    1. Stubborn coach has no plan for a quarterback of the future because "the system works."
    2. Quarterback (in Warner's case outstanding, in Palmer's case: competent) decides that he doesn't want to be violently concussed behind a lousy o-line retires
    3. A practice team quality QB (in this case Stanton) is thrown out on the field by a coach who believes "the system works."
    4. The team performs so poorly that Bidwill forces the coach to try the other options (like Max Hall, etc.)
    5. Disaster ensues and a coach who is stubborn enough to railroad his own career because "the system works" (keeping Amos Jones shows that Arians is actually as stubborn as Whisenhunt was) leads the franchise into a 2 year tailspin
    6. A coach who was once the toast of the league is finally fired.

It's like watching a sequel. I hope that I am wrong, but I think that we are seeing history repeat itself

I would boycott the Cardinals until BA was fired if that really happened.

I remember telling the Cardinals ticket rep who called me that I would not buy another ticket until Whisenhunt was fired. It can get ugly fast.

If that happens BA & much of his staff better just go ahead & walk off to the elderly facility & save themselves the anguish.

Oh wait lets trade for Tony Romo lol :titanic:

OR, we swing for the fences and do whatever we can and go after Kurt Cousins. I know it will never happen but whatever it cost we would be set at QB for the next 10 years.

So we face a little adversity this year & our coaching staff needs replaced. Even though he's 34 & 13 the last 3 years. We have our first year where we don't have a winning record half way through the season & everybody sucks. He's been the best HC we've had since moving to the valley. You all are spoiled. Don't get it.

Whisenhunt went to the Superbowl and then made the final four the next year in the NFC. How long did he last? Stupid is as stupid does.

I am anything but spoiled. I followed this team from Tucson for 18 bad years out of 20 when they moved here when I was 8 years old. Whisenhunt went from hero to zero in one season and dragged us with him because he refused to evolve. Then he got canned at his next job because of the same stubbornness.

I will not attend a single game next season if Stanton is our starter, that will signal absolute ineptitude from our staff period!

The QB class not this coming draft but next year (2018) has potential IMO. Kinda hoping we're bad enough to snag one.

I think you can get a QB in this year's draft who can give you the same level of production Palmer has given ARZ this year but he would come far cheaper than Palmer plus he would have youth and mobility on his side.

DJ is a great stop-gap with Palmer while we find another QB. Just need to tweak the offense a little bit. DJ can make a QB's job much easier, more than any other player on offense.
