You do know that the members of Islamic extremist terrorist groups make up a tiny fraction of a percent of the world's Muslim population, correct?

Is christianity a religion of peace? Then why do we see Christians shooting up abortion clinics and schools? Probably because every group has their extremists.

because we know for a fact that there are radical factions of islam all over the world just waiting for something like this to use to stir up more violence?

And right on cue I wake up, turn on CNN and they're showing rioting and people throwing rocks and police throwing tear gas because of this act as the former US ambassador to the region explains if you think today is bad it's not, wait until tomorrow, the traditional day for rioting in the Middle East is Friday and anybody who understands the dynamic in the region knew this would happen if Trump did what he did.

More than a small percentage of Muslims horribly oppress women. Don't even get me started on their treatment of gays. How this is casually overlooked on this board is beyond me.
That said - this appears to be yet another asinine move by our dear leader. Ill advised it seems, although many in our government want this. To vote on paper and then defer smacks to me of hypocrisy.

    “the traditional day of rioting”

Religious traditions just keep getting weirder and weirder.

I think that was my own term I don't recall the exact way he said it but he basically said rioting is always higher on Fridays when they are protesting something so if you think what's happening now is bad, just wait until tomorrow.

I think he said it figuring the White House would say a bunch of people throwing rocks, no big deal, so he was saying just wait and see what happens starting tomorrow.

The great deal maker didn't get anything for the US or the Palestinians. Not a single concession from Israel to mollify the anger of Arabs or Muslims.

So basically Trump read the top 3 lines of the briefing they gave him about it, it didn't explain what would happen if he did this, but that's not Trump's fault.

Nice. Our President does not have a clue as to how the world operates. Lets just have the whole Arab world mad at us. Hope they do not do an oil embargo. For those of us alive in the 70's when that happened was not a fun time waiting in the gas lines due to shortages. If it happens then expect $6-8 per gallon for gas. Plus the residual effects of the everything else going up due to fuel costs. Never fear. Your tax cut will cover part of that increased cost.

    MAGA!!! NOT!!!
