My mistake. Win it all Wildcats.
Az with 3 mental mistakes already and has allowed CC to take the lead. Should still be 1-0 Wildcats
Everything about this game feels wrong.
Probably as it should be, since this is such a Cinderella run, history or no.
Stupid decision to keep Dalbek in the game in the 6th inning. He may have lost Arizona the title. In fact, it's probable.
Ramer's error was more significant.
Also, at least four of these CCU players would bat cleanup for UofA. Just outmatched, IMO.
Not gonna pretend to know a lot about UA baseball but what a great season.
If ASU's biggest athletic accomplishment of this academic year is its rival losing in a national championship game, that doesn't speak well of the current state of ASU athletics.
As I implied, winning Game 2 was almost a necessity. UofA almost caught a break with Cunningham starting instead of Beckwith, but the rain delay pushed it up a day to where Beckwith could start (he threw 137 pitches in his last game against TCU).
Sucks to come within a run of a Natty, but in perspective, this was a hell of a job by Jay Johnson and co.
I hope you are not affiliated with Arizona State. Your post is very distasteful.
Great season Wildcats.
