If anyone of us could be a national hero after hitting a home run but be completely ignored when hitting .170 against pitchers 8 years younger than you we'd all do it. The media and the farce that is the Mets PR department is to blame. Not Tebow.

It's Tebow's publicists...whom are probably told by Tebow to get his name out there as much as possible. I don't think he's a bad guy...I just think he loves attention more than anything, which is probably why he hired some great publicists that will spam ESPN whenever he does anything remotely good. Can't blame the Mets PR, because anytime Tebow even sniffed the NFL...all of a sudden it was national news. It's ridiculous...

This is patently false. It's the media who perpetuate the Tim Tebow saga and brainwash people into thinking that Tebow is engaging in these activities to garner attention. As long as the consumers continue to talk and complain about him, the media will continue to follow up on his activities and whereabouts. He's a good guy with goals.

The Kardashians do things for attention and money, and they make it no secret.

And how exactly is that different from Tebow's farce of a baseball career?

Tebow has a team of publicists that make every move he does known to the world. Not very many people actively search out what he's doing...his people make sure you know exactly what he's doing, and it's all by design. He craves attention and fame...simple as that...otherwise he wouldn't have PR people.

I'm sure you have a link to back this up, which includes something out of the ordinary from other athletes.

A lot of your post includes hypothetical constructs, many of which you can't prove to be anything to the contrary. If you can't understand that the media is the one who perpetuates the Tebow story because of reactions such as yours, I'm not sure what to tell you.

And on the contrary...you wouldn't be able to 100% prove your point, either. Not every athlete has publicists...and I'm sure the % that do is fairly low. Does the media perpetuate it, sure, but I know ESPN doesn't have it's own division specifically for Tebow...it's his PR team that's getting all the information out there. Tebow reminds me of Tiger Woods...where absolutely everything is over-publicized and over-blown. And you know Tiger has a ridiculous amount of PR people keeping his name afloat. It is what it is...I don't really care what Tebow does...I just think he's doing his best to stay in the circle of fame.

He may be on his way to AA soon according to a tweet I saw. His average is up to .243, which is not great, but he is hitting around .280 since starting 1 for 11. He still needs to get the strike outs down, but he is making progress is not an embarrassment out there.

I wish him well. I cant understand why anybody can hate him, other than jealousy.

You got other athletes out here smoking the devil lettuce and punching hoes....how on earth can you dislike Tim who does all the right things?

    Hes a good dude.
