May God bless and comfort you during this time of sorrow and remembrance.
The most touching thing that I can relate to on a level like this is the interviews as the Red Sox were finally winning a World Series and how many people where emotionally remembering those close to them that didn't get a chance to see it.
I will toast every former Cardinal fan that deserved to see this but never got a chance if I am lucky enough to see it myself.
My condolences. It is hard to lose loved ones, even if they have gone on to a better place than we can all imagine.
Football is trivial compared to what your family has been and is dealing with right now. Thank-you for thinking of this board at this time, we appriciate it.
Agree 100% Jeff!! Hell, lets raise our glasses tonight & toast Danny & his family!
May you rest in peace, and enjoy the greatest season in Cardinals history from the best seats in heaven.
May your spirit live on in your family and your extended Cardinals family, a spirit of strength, hope, and goodwill.
And yes, we will be raising glasses to you soon
Rest in peace, Danny. We will miss you here.
My condolences. God bless.
Wow, I just found this thread -- and the other one where he announced his cancer -- and I have to say the way he handled the news was classy and admirable.
R.I.P, Danny. Although I never knew you, you will be missed.
My thoughts are with you Danny and your family for loosing an obviously great guy!
I am truly sorry for you and your family's loss..my deepest sympathy and condolences. If you don't mind I will make this year's battle cry "Win It for Danny"..but only if you don't mind..again my deepest condolences..
deepest condolences and prayers are with you and your family.....
Very Sad News. R.I.P. Danny.
Condolences to the Lynn family.
Danny was well liked by his Cardinal message board brethren.
Crazy loyalty to this team and it's fans!
Thanks to all of you for your wonderful thoughts and comments. I've sent this site to several friends and even a few fans. Danny's brother couldn't make the funeral because of work and is in Perth, Australia soon to be on his way to Singapore. I'm sure, as a fellow Cards fan, that he'd approve of any battle cry in Danny's name.
