I wanted to add the last chapter to a great sports fan and wonderful husband, father and friend. Danny passed away August 16th after a terrible battle with cancer. Danny was very brave and fought hard to the end. Here is his obiturary so you can see what a terrific human he was and is, in my heart. He is the love of my life. I'm keeping Sunday Ticket just to see the season thru. With him overlooking them from the great beyond, I feel their chances are the best!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, I know it is a very difficult time, and our hearts go out to you and your family.

My mom passed away several weeks ago, and my father has taken it pretty hard. Husbands and wives who have been together for so many years, and have shared so much, create a bond that is unique in human experience.

Two weeks ago, I drove to Arizona and picked up my Dad and took him and my two boys (ages 9 & 7) to the mock game in Prescott. Watching the Cardinals was something my parents had shared together (although truth be told, they like most transplanted Arizonans were fans of other NFL teams) and it was nice to spend a day just relaxing and enjoying the freshness of a new season.

I hope in some small way, the upcoming season of Cardinal football helps to heal your anguish, and somehow acts as a gentle reminder of the good times you and your husband shared.

Our prayers will be with you.

    Jeff
