I actually like McGee on the Warriors but it's clear Bell has supplanted him. He fits the Warriors because the way they spread the floor he's so dangerous on lobs and pick and rolls, that won't work on just any team, takes the right kind of team. He'd fit Houston for example with Harden and Paul, but I don't think he'd fit OKC or some others that don't spread the court and move the ball the same way.

A lot of the fans on the forum wanted the Suns to draft Jordon Bell. The Suns drafting Reed was a puzzler.

I actually meant McGee but yeah I like Bell. He's a bit undersized but he's long and jumps so well and he's strong so it's not a huge issue against very few bigs. I wish he could shoot beyond 2 feet but that will come.

He's been really good of late.

McGee is bigger but he isn't as quick so he can't do all the switching the Warriors want on defense as well as Bell does, and he's a significantly better passer than McGee is.

Very happy the Warriors got him

I very much wanted the Suns to take Bell. He was my guy for the second round and it looks like I was justified in hoping the Suns picked him. That said, I did like what I saw from Reed in Summer League.

I have a problem seeing the world through Suns glasses. Need to work on that. ;)

My primary concern was the Warriors drafting a player I liked (Bell) and them possibly stealing a trade opportunity from the Suns by trading one of their centers.

Definitely see Bell as an upgrade over McGee for the Warriors.

If the Rockets keep Green he is a good insurance policy on the cheap. He has been terribly inconsistent over his whole career. He played some of his best basketball with the Suns.

He did, but it felt like a fluke while it was happening. His shot selection was as hideous and selfish as it was anywhere else, they were just going in for a time.

This is true. The shots were going in for awhile but the Rockets are hoping he might be able to do it again for a game if the need arises. Freewheeling players tend to play well under DA's system.

There's optimism within Timberwolves that Jeff Teague could return from MCL sprain within two to four weeks, league sources tell ESPN.
